The trainers of Tratak are well versed in the art of Yoga which gives a wonderful experience to the students. We are here in the field of yoga and alternative therapeutic services for more than a decade. We are also specialized in Reiki, Acupressure and Diet and Nutrition.

What we offer:

We consider each and every being unique and different from others. Each and every individual has different set of requirements so taking this into consideration, we have designed yoga classes accordingly, viz Yoga for kids, youths, women, corporates, senior citizens and athletes. We have different kinds of Yoga:-
Power Yoga, Hath Yoga, Ashtangvinyas yoga.

Power Yoga: Power yoga is the combinations of dynamic asanas and powerful breathing practices which connecta body, mind and spirit. Power yoga is very popular among youths. It reduces extra fat from the body, building core muscles and gives strength, stamina and flexibility to our body. Our instructors give personal attention to each individual about alignments, correct postures, strength building which results in transformative and long lasting experience to the students.

Hatha yoga: Hatha yoga is a power full technique to explore your full potential. It is best suited for begginers, helps in nurturing health and fitness. It is combination of asanas(yoga postures) and Pranayama(yoga breathing exercises) , which helps bring peace to the body and mind. It is relatively gentle, slow and great for beginners/students who prefer more relaxed style where they hold long pose.

AshtangVinyas Yoga: AshtangVinyas Yoga is modern technique of yoga given to the world by Sri K. PattabhiJois.  This technique of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures- a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body and a calm mind.
 
Gentle Yoga: Gentle yoga is an honest attempt to serve a variety of distinct needs: people with movement limitations, or profound stiffness due to lack of activity, arthritis, back pain, recovery from surgery for seniors, new practitioners, pregnant women, those seeking stress reduction, and weight management.  Gentle yoga classes are typically described as appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow paced, well supported and relaxing practice.

Yoga Therapy:

Yoga therapy brings together asanas, pranayama, mudra, yoga nidra, meditation and relaxation technique into a complete package where they can be utilize for therapy. It is an ancient science of yoga that focuses on health and wellness at all levels of the person, physical, psychological and spiritual.

Yoga therapy focuses on the path of yoga as a healing journey that brings balance to the body and mind through an experiential understanding of the primary intention of yoga, awakening of spirit our essential nature. Yoga therapy adopts the practice of yoga to the needs of people with specific and persistent health problem not usually addressed in group class. It consists of application of yogic principles, methods and techniques to specific human ailments. In its ideal application, yoga therapy is preventive in nature, as is yoga itself, it is also restorative in many instances and curative in many others.

(1)Properposture:

Proper alignment is necessary for preventing injuries as well as maximizing the benefit of any asanas. Proper alignment of body in any asanas tone tones up the muscles, internal organs, improves the circulation, vitalize the life force.

(2) Proper breathing:

Proper and conscious breathing practices reduce stress and anxiety, promote restful sleep, ease pain; increase attention and focus , clearer perception, greater connection with self and ultimately happier life.

(3) Proper cleansing Kriya:

Cleansing kriya popularly known as Shatkarma, Shatkarma purifies the body increases the capacity to work, digest, enhances the energy flow through the body freely. Cleansing kriya creates harmony in body and mind.

(4) Proper diet- Balanced diet:

A proper and well balanced diet provides the right vitamins, minerals and nutrients to keep the body and mind strong and healthy, improves the natural vitality of the body and reduce the risks of diseases.

(5) Proper Relaxation – Shavasana:

Shavasana is an essential part of yoga therapy. It relaxes your whole body, releases stress, fatigue, depression and tension, improves concentration, cures insomnia, calms mind and improves mental health.

(6) Proper mind set – Meditation:

Meditation is an art of relaxation. Regular practice of meditation makes change in body and every cell in the body is filled with more prana(vital energy). This results in joy, peace, enthusiasm as the level of prana in body increases. It decreases anxiety, improves emotional stability, enhances will power.

Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation. It is based on the principle that the therapies can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing process of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional wellbeing.

Acupressure

Acupressure is an alternative healing technique. In Acupressure physical pressure is applied to acupuncture points with the aim of clearing blockages in meridians. Pressure may be applied by hand, by elbows or with various devices. Acupressure is effective at helping manage nausea and vomiting, lower back pain, tension, headaches, stomach ache etc.

Diet and Nutrition

To maintain good health, our body needs balanced diet and regular exercise. Balanced diet is the way of eating all the Nutrients that our body needs in order to be healthy. Everyone’s bodies are different and hence every individual requires a different amount and types of nutrients. Our dietician design a diet plan according to the need of individual.

Counselling

Counselling is the act of helping you to see things more clearly, possibly for a different view point. Our counsellor helps you to focus on feelings, experience or behavior, with a goal to facilitate positive change. We offer face to face counselling services to individual facing personal, relationship or family problems.
